Some news!
We haven't been idle during all this time, we'll tell you what happened
The first news, and perhaps the most important, is that Phyto-info is now registered as a non-profit organization under the 1901 law. Founded in June 2022, the association aims to bring together people eager to learn or share knowledge, blending science and tradition, about the risks and benefits of plants. Learn more about the founding members and the association’s activities.
In second news, we now have a website: phyto-info.com with some initial content. Here you will find our activities and information about plants, our motto being “plants made easy”. For example, our TL;DR (“too long; didn’t read”) will show you a therapeutic use for each plant, because we know that it is not always easy to read long texts.
Our third news item concerns our search tool. Phyto-info search tool aims to list and synthesize information relating to plants (constituents, possible toxicities, precautions for use, benefits, etc.) from books published by recognized professionals, whether health professionals, scientists, or even practitioners from non-conventional sectors (not officially recognized). Phyto-info search tool offers a library of information on certain plants, providing quick and easy answers to questions you may have about plants. The first version of our search tool will be online soon…
And our last news item for today concerns the development of the terms of use for our search tool as well as our privacy policy. Because protecting your personal data is a priority for us, we are finalizing these documents with the help of a lawyer; they will be finalized soon.
In summary, the Phyto-info search tool will soon be available; we are working hard to make a first version available to all our members within a month or two.
