Board of Directors January 2024

Introduction

The board of directors of the Phyto-info non-profit organization was held, following the convening of its President, on January 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. (local time) by videoconference.

The President notes that all the members of the board of directors are present; the President then declares that the council can validly deliberate.

Request for financing

This year we are offering discovery outings and practical workshops on plants. To finance the purchase of materials and the development of educational leaflets and advertising brochures, we will request a grant from the Doubs Baumois Community of Municipalities to facilitate the implementation of our action for 2024. The application will be submitted by the President before February 28, 2024.

Outings and workshops

These workshops will aim to raise public awareness not only of plants and their importance, but also of the risks associated with their uses. The workshops will be organised over a period of 3 months (from May to July), with two workshops per month (a discovery outing and a practical workshop). On-demand workshops will also be offered. In these practical workshops, we will cover, among other things, the preparation, presentation, dosage, route of administration and preservation of plants. • Discovery outing : 5 euros per person, 2 hours, 10 participants
• Workshop - essential formula : 30 euros per person, 2 hours, 4 participants
• Workshop - advanced format : 120 euros per person, 1 day, 2 participants
• Membership : currently valid

Payment of speakers will be made by invoice, the amount of services will be agreed in advance.

Leaflets and brochures

Educational leaflets and advertising brochures will be developed for our upcoming activities.

Updating our website

We will very soon include the dates and content of our discovery outings and practical workshops on our website Phyto-info.com, as well as the means of registration.

Google Maps

For greater visibility and to give the possibility of leaving comments, we have created our establishment profile on Google Maps; it will be active soon.

Translation tool

The final settings of Weblate, the open source translation tool chosen to facilitate our translation work, are now complete. Our English version should be ready before the summer.

Publication of old works

We realize that restoring old structures takes much longer than anticipated. Given the workload of each of us, we have decided to postpone this mission to a later date. For the time being, we prefer to put all our energy into developing workshops that we consider more useful for our members.
